Position Summary
The Director Inventory Analytics (IA) will be heading the inventory analytics & planning at Voylla.
Will work closely with all department teams for inventory planning & forecasting, deployment, replenishment, and timely recall to/from online and offline retail channels of Voylla. The Director IA will coordinate closely with merchandising and design team for providing inputs for new collection basis historical data and statistical analysis. This role is a perfect amalgamation of creativity and analytics. The Director IA will be required to have good understanding of fashion jewelry & accessories, including the latest fashion trends. The Director IA will also create and monitor the inventory efficiency metrics and will work closely with merchandising team in evaluating the performance of each collection, placing/cancelling orders. By analyzing inventory risks and opportunities, and implementing inventory allocation strategies, the Director IA improves cash flow and increases profit margins. The Director IA will also work with Marketing Team and Market Research team in evaluating the design briefs and also be an active member of new design collection approver committee. The Director IA profile is based out at the headquarters of company (Jaipur, Rajasthan), where interfacing with the marketing and finance departments, as well as buyers and senior leaders is easiest.
Key Responsibilities
1. Streamlines the flow of merchandise through all business channels by providing the merchandising and design teams with trend analysis, allocation, and guidance.
2. Maintain all business-related data, perform regular analysis on same and update design briefs if required for merchandising team.
3. Prepare financial and statistical reports for merchandising and initiate appropriate decisions for same.
4. Analyze data and coordinate with Merchandising team to ensure work within timeframe.
5. Develop appropriate tools and perform analysis to ensure effective management of each category.
6. Generate and submit the purchase orders in timeline fashion.
7. Manage/operate the open-to-buy tool and ensure the data accuracy with each Risk and Opportunity planning.
8. Working closely with Tech and Project management teams to automate the inventory planning processes. Our goal is to fully automate the order management process.
9. Trend Analysis including monitoring store category sales, supervising physical inventory, identifying trends and monitoring the timing and scope of seasonal changes.
10. Inventory Allocation and maintaining desired inventory levels and assortments for each channel/store, scheduling deliveries, and overseeing shipping/receiving and warehousing of merchandise. Working directly with suppliers, merchandising analysts develop supply strategies that will minimize stock outs while maximizing inventory turns.

- Experience in handling complex data structures.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office concepts.

Desired qualification & experience:
- 10 to 12 years of experience in inventory management in retail/e-commerce/
- B. Tech from IITs or Degree in Mathematics / Statistics preferred
- MBA from premier institute or NIFT Graduate/post graduate
