Vodafone - Senior Manager - Solution Sales - Enterprise - Telecom Technology Domain (9-12 yrs)

Role purpose: Accountable for the Business solutions engagement with the enterprise customers at the circle across all the business segments. Responsible for building solution focused engagement with customers in the respective circle and making the most effective techno-commercial solutions to the enterprise customers using the Telecom and IT services of Vodafone. Relevant Interface with circle / corporate Service Assurance as and when required.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

- Customer Engagement for New Business Development - Engagement with the mid-level managers and C-level at the customer organization and position the Vodafone services to value add the customer business processes.

- Customer RFP evaluations across Segments - Drive the large RFP's and technical solutions across segments at the circle level to build unique and customised propositions ensuring Vodafone wins Techno commercial bids that maximize revenue / profitability with focus on cost optimization

- Input to the new product development based on the market need

- Support the VBS Segment specific business improvement initiatives- Extend relevant training for BDM / NAM / Service Managers. Understand the need for each segment, create specific strategy for business growth and own the execution.

- Capability Assessment for Self and Team and initiate learning programs and certifications - Build a learning culture across the team and ensure the team is up to date on the technology developments.

- Review all key deals and timely highlight risks if any.

- Proactively ensure compliance with Company's Health Safety and Well-being policy and the Absolute Safety Rules by all concerned. Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:

- 9 to 12 years of experience in Telecom Technology domain. Hands on Technology and implementation exposure to Transmission technologies like DWDM, OTN, SDH, Ethernet and IP/MPLS, GSM, UMTS, HSPA. Good understanding of Data Centre, Cloud, IT integration and managed services.

- Good understanding of the Enterprise Customer requirements and unique skills to build solutions making use of the core technologies

- Good Techno commercial and finance acumen, presentation and documentation skills

- Customer interaction and engagement exposure.

- Managing teams - Exposure to managing teams.
