Desired Profile:
1) Total 8+ yrs of experience
2) 3+ yrs in People Manager (Must have DR's) in current role
3) 8+ Experience or Knowledge of GBIS (Business Intelligence & Analytics)
4) Experience in Analytical tools like SAS, SPSS, R with through knowledge of various analytical & statistical techniques
5) 8+ Experience in Campaign/ Marketing Domain- Mandate
6) Hands on experience in Analytical tools like SAS, SPSS, R with through knowledge of various analytical & statistical techniques
7) Adequate exposure to Data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlikview, SAS Visual Analytics, etc.
8) Exceptional data manipulation and analysis techniques; comfortable using very large (- 10's millions rows) datasets, containing both structured and unstructured data
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
1) PhD / Masters in Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics or similar / MBA from a premier B-school
2) Experience in managing a high-profile team of analysts and data scientists
3) Minimum experience of 7 years with the last 5 years in Consulting or Analytics
4) Excellent communication & presentation skills with track record of engaging with senior business leaders
5) Flexibility, problem solving and dealing with ambiguity
6) Previous experience in Telecom would be a distinct advantage
Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Designation will be Sr Manager
- Manage the Data Consulting team as a people manager
- Build & deploy analytical solutions (models, hypothesis, analyses & scenarios) across the spectrum of analytical maturity - descriptive, inferential, predictive & prescriptive delivering high visibility, complex & impactful projects to senior business leaders
- Create connects with supported business to understand and solve business challenges as well as to increase business penetration
- Drive efficiencies in how analytical services are delivered, through automation and standardization of analytical delivery
Role purpose:
The incumbent works with the direct reports on the assigned projects & it's stakeholder to understand the business challenges faced by them. Using expertise in analytics, the incumbent provide structured and data-backed analytics solutions to create bottom-line impact for the business. The role leverages / re-engineers existing solutions to delivery efficiently. The role also demands an innovation led approach to delivery through the use of evolving analytical techniques / technologies.
The candidate works with the assigned business stakeholder(s) to agree scope, deliverables, process and expected outcomes from the products and services developed.
