Key Purpose of the Job

- The position is responsible for postpaid acquisition number for the circle. It involves all the activities starting from understanding market needs, conceptualizing product and launching of products with focus on postpaid acquisition.

Key Result Areas

1. Achieve monthly target for gross activations..

2. Achieve monthly target for Marginal ARPU..

3. Segmented products basis market understanding

4. Focus on P2P and sales through VS & VMS

Key Functions & Responsibillities

Strategic

- Strategize by Understanding and Analysing Market trends, Competition moves and Exploring new avenues & segments to augment acquisitions.

Operational:Product Formulation and Launch

- To ensure that the product gets ready on time, for launch purposes after taking all the necessary and relevant approvals.

- To launch the product informing all the relevant departments about their roles and responsibilities

- To monitor sales happening from channel and analyze the gaps and derive ways to fill them up and enhancing maximum sales.

Operational: Promotion and Distribution

- To coordinate with mar-com team for getting promotional material

- Facilitating Trade for getting the local promotion done, facilitating team for co-opt ads, road shows etc

- To ensure that promotional material reach each POS.

Operational:Pre to Post

- To work out on scientific way of data extraction for telecalling purpose, making a full script to make the tele calling effective and mitigate the wastage, monitoring effective execution and implementation of process whereby increasing Gross Sales

- Providing Telecalling Data to Trade for Pre to Post Conversions, monitoring Telesales health, data’s effective usage and facilitating gross sales.

Operational: Competition Tracking

- To coordinate with Zonal Heads, Branch Heads and In charges, knowing what are the competition moves.

- Market visits to existing channel , customers and Competition store

- To react to any counter competition offer proactively either by making a new plan or reinforcing on strengths of existing plans

Operattiional: Coordination with departments

- To coordinate with Central Marketing team, for taking necessary approvals.

- To coordinate with Sales team for Feedback reports and solving their queries.

- To coordinate with IT department for various product related information, Plan configurations etc

- To coordinate with CSG for any type of support function needed

- To coordinate with IN for getting Prepaid dumps basis filters provided, so that it can be used for Telecalling purposes.

- To coordinate with Commercial for getting SIM’s, CAF’s made and dispatched

- To coordinate with B&C for solving their queries

- To coordinate with marketing team for getting Promotional Material made and timely distribution in field.

Developmental

- Meet Trade and make visits to market to understand channel issues and problems, so that we can react accordingly.

- To share best practices of trade at various levels are undertaking with the rest of sales team
