Role Description

The Strategy Associate's primary responsibility will be to assist the Strategy and Corporate Development Team's initiatives, as it makes recommendations to drive company growth and profitability. The position will require cross-functional collaboration with leadership. It is a high visibility position and is regarded as one of the key talents within our organization. The Strategy Associate will run various analyses; develop well supported solution with specific recommendations that will enable executive management to make critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct research and analysis on internal & external environment by using sound research methodologies and analytical frameworks appropriate for the assigned task

- Analyze data with an investigative mindset using a hypothesis-driven approach to identify opportunities

- Identify growth and profit improvement opportunities by providing insightful analysis

- Understand and stay current on industry trends to develop implications and provide insights to build strategy

- Mine competitor corporate data to support the strategic plans and initiatives

- Support senior managers on ad-hoc initiatives

Education Qualification

- MBA with specialization in Marketing / Strategy

- Experience: 2 -3 Years in IT or related industry

- Experience in working with a strategy consulting firm or a respected operating company's strategy function (desired)

Key Skills Required

- Structured & Logical Thinking - The ability to understand the implications of strategic analysis, and to make strong, well supported recommendations

- Analytical Rigor - Proven capability for conducting and managing quantitative strategic analysis

- Technical Proficiency - Able to take data from various sources with ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, database programs (Access or similar), and business intelligence tools, etc. to put together effective analysis, recommendations, and presentations. Background in basic Statistics preferred

- Powerful Communication - Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and on paper

- Should have very good hands on Exp in Excel, Advanced Excel & PPT presentations.

- Should have exp in Financial modeling.
