The potential candidate accomplishes sales goals by implementing sales plans and managing staff.

It is a key function of the organization and the prospective candidate should have risen through the ranks of the sales field with the right combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

- Achieves sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

- Accomplishes sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

- Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

- Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.

- Accomplishes sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.

- Sustains rapport with key customers by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.

- Being an ongoing channel of sales requirements to stakeholders within organization

- Work with other teams to build training and contribute to the Go-To-Market plans with stakeholders

- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

- Flexible, creative and can work in a startup environment

Required Skills :

- High level of Verbal and Written Communication, Financial Planning and Strategy, Marketing Concepts, Positioning, People Management, Sales Planning, Sales Management, Customer Centricity, Negotiation, Analytical Skills, Understanding the Customer, Call Center Management

- Minimum 10 years- experience in B2C Sales in the tech enabled Education Industry (School, Colleges, Institutes, etc), preferably in an Education Startup
