Vice President - Strategy and New Initiatives  Company : The company develops and markets innovative cold chain products based on its propreitary thermal energy storage technology. Their transport and stationary cold storage systems have created a huge interest in the nascent maket for cold chain in India. They work with marquee customers who set benchmarks in their fields and have adopted the products in the field after rigrous trials.   The founders have eclectic bakgrounds from IIT, Harvard and Cornell with prestegious venture investors backing them.  Qualifications : Post-graduate - preferably an MBA from Tier I/II colleges, If only a graduate then preferably from Tier I colleges (engineering or commerce)  Experience and Capabilities : This is a senior role being offered to someone who aims to rise to a CXO position in the next few years. We are looking for a young and energetic person with the following:  - Entrepreneurial drive and passion with a hands on attitude  - Skilled in business tools like presentations, excel sheets etc.   - Past experience in a startup or similar environment, or management consulting backgruond will be an added advantage  - Dynamic and outgoing person with ability to network and attitude to get work done  - Willing to travel across the country and network   - Team player and ability to get things done with strict deadlines  Position Description :   The person will work very closely with the CEO of the company and will have a few junior team members reporting to him. The main activities the person will be involved in are as follows:  - Business Partnerships: Identifying and implementing long-term business partnerships for the organization and managing such relationships. The person will also be given responsibility for a few key customer accounts to be managed to develop better understanding of the business.  - Marketing and PR: Managing the PR function of the organization with complete responsibility of digital media management - content creation and outreach; providing support for fundraise and managing investor relations.  - Market Research: Meeting stakeholders and developing and implementing, in close coordination with the Board of the company, plans for future growth and expansion.  - New Initiatives: Responsible for identifying and implementing new initiatives in the organization to increase efficiency and business performance whether through process improvements, new work tools etc.   Critical Traits :  - Extremely ethical and trustworthy  - Action-oriented, hands on person with an ability to work with people from the top to the bottom of the organization  - Confident of himself and able to handle crisis situations  - Culture of the company is very open and initiative oriented. Should be comfortable with that  Other details :  - Salary negotiable based on qualifications etc. Fixed + incentive + stock options in the company with a vesting period  - Required to sign a non compete non disclosure agreement with the company
