Vice President/Senior Vice President - Plant Operations - Textile Industry

Responsible for manufacturing activities which include production of the existing production of new product lines, meeting production targets, managing work effectively, and improving product quality.

Executing Units manufacturing strategic plans.

Well versed with Plant Operations, Strategic Planning, Commercial, Project Management, Vendor Management, Cost Reduction, Man Management, and Quality Control.

Responsible for supporting R&D & QA for innovation of new product

Communicate with research and development as well as product management personnel to develop new product strategies.

Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.

Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets.

Analyse workforce requirements.

Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.

Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.

Work with purchasing manager to develop and improve supplier relationships.

DESIRED PROFILE

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering/Textile Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred qualifications: Masters degree, Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt certification..

Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as; Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean etc.
