Vice President - Sales & Marketing - Yarn Export (15-20 yrs)
Sales:
- Costing of products communicating with the plant to get the required data to carry out the same.
- Export documentation monitoring and coordinating with the plant to ensure that the shipments happen in a timely manner. Coordinating with the planning department to ensure that the minimum packaging requirements are met to avoid any delays.
- Monitoring all Sales related administrative work - collating and analyzing all sales related data, replying to customers mails after discussions with the owners, collating information required for sending to customers/potential customers, furnishing information required to update customers/potential customers web portals, arranging to send data required to comply with audit procedures, etc. All interactions with the customer would be the direct responsibility of this person.
Marketing :
- Attending exhibitions, contacting customers/potential customers, etc. organizing all related work in order to attend an exhibition selecting booth design, deciding products, posters, designs to be displayed, etc. Deciding which exhibitions to attend to get maximum exposure.
- Organizing meeting with existing customers to update them on the business dealing and possibility of additional business.
- Organizing meetings with potential customers by contacting the senior buyers and making detailed presentations on the company.
- Discussing these matters with the owners on a day to day basis to explain the reason for which we should be targeting these customers.
- Ascertaining new markets / businesses, where our products can be used. Finding new applications in which our products can be used. Making suggestions to the owners on the future course of action in terms of investments.
- Drawing up an action plan to improve the awareness of the organization globally. Organizing the design for a new website and the presence of the organization on the internet in a much more pronounced manner.
