ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Role

- Head the India Business Services Procurement team to develop and drive the function across India and Asia. Business Services includes the following categories: Facilities, Travel, Marketing, Transport, HR, and other administrative functions.

- As a key member of the Global Procurement Leadership Team, work closely with other regional peers to solve for the greater

- Establish tight alignment with the related business function heads

- Oversee management responsibilities of the Procurement Team, including setting individual targets, team targets and performance monitoring

Responsibilities

- Sourcing & Category Management for all business services spend (Facilities, Travel, Marketing, Transport, HR, and other administrative functions)

- Be a key change agent in our Procurement Transformation journey

- Close negotiations and mitigating commercials exposure in the contracts.

- Define and manage key supplier relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, service and quality

- Deliver the negotiation Savings and best possible commercials across the categories

- Establish and report on measurable performance metrics for all procurement activities including supplier performance and payment term

Key Skills:

- Procurement background with 15-22 years of experience in related fields. Advanced degree a plus.

- Strong exposure to various Technologies /Hardware/Software - product knowledge, technology awareness, contract laws, negotiation, market dynamics, commercial strategy, strategic sourcing, contract management and supply relationship management

- Experience in leading a similar function in other companies. Companies in the IT industry a plus.

- Strong communication skills and drive desired results within the organization.

- Excellent people management skills; Proficient in verbal communication, writing, time management, organizational and presentation skills

- Excellent analytical and decision making skills

- Exceptionally strong work ethic displaying a mature and professional attitude with an ability to adjust quickly to change

- Motivated, self-starter and achievement oriented and excellent team building skills.
