Client Details

Our client is a leading corporate and investment bank with rapid expansion of their operations in Indian market. As a part of migration of value added work from the US, UK, Europe and financial centres in APAC, they are looking for an experienced professional to build their operations risk team.

Job Description

Based out of Delhi NCR, your key responsibilities shall be:

- Manage the entire Operations Risk portfolio for the bank

- Identify and categorize operational losses into business line and event type categories

- Lead the development of Operations Risk framework for identification of dealers leading to high operational risk exposure

- Build and review operation risk models for mitigating risks

- Perform statistical regression analysis in designing, estimating and monitoring model performance

- Ensuring that the review, validation, re-calibration and implementation of each model is completed in accordance with the detailed work plan

- Build and grow a team of operation risk modelers

- Managing relationship with business heads and other international stakeholders to support them in statistical and risk modeling

Profile

As a successful applicant you should have

- Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, Financial Engineering

- At least 12 years of overall risk analytics experience with minimum 5 years in operation risk modeling

- Hands on experience in SAS, SQL and Excel

- Excellent communication skills to manage various stakeholders

- Experience in managing a mid-sized team

- Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements
