Vice President - Investment Banking

Imp Note: Candidates having corporate banking/wholesale banking experience can also apply for this role (Those who want to switch from corporate banking to investment banking).

1. To originate mandates from Private Sector companies across industries sectors who are looking to raise funds via the debt route. ( ex NCD, Term Loans, working capital )

2. To build relationships with key persons (CFOs/ promoters) in corporates build client trust confidence

3. Deal sourcing, Pitching, Deal execution, negotiations

4. Strategizing on transaction terms conditions, strategic B-plan preparation,

5. To provide thought leadership to the Business Origination activities by involving in the entire life cycle of investment banking Corporate FUND RAISING functions that include deal origination to deal closure.

7. Responsible for end-to-end ORIGINATION assignments starting from business development, pro-active lead generation, overlooking mandate pitches, client transaction control.

8. Responsible for conducting industry research, market mapping, preparing mandate pitches, client interface and be a touch point from data gathering to preparation of marketing materials for multiple sell-side/ buy-side mandates till deal closure

9. Working closely with THE HEAD OF INVESTMENT BANKING

10. Maintain excellent relations with Promoters / Directors / CFOs of clients

11. Involving in regular client meetings, bilateral discussions, commercial negotiations, due-diligence, transaction closure agreements etc

Required:

Candidate's Profile:

- Experience of ideation and origination across sectors, with a good understanding of various equity capital market products and regulatory framework.
