Role: Vice President - Investment Banking

Responsibilities

- Manage new client teams and pilots for various investment banks, taking full ownership of quality and value add on all projects.

- Manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure - highest client satisfaction-

- Manage delivery of various Investment banking projects including detailed industry studies or market analysis, pitch books, information memorandums, strategic account plans, company profiles, financial modeling, competitive benchmarking, opportunity assessments and other ad-hoc requests

- Support onshore team across multiple product and sector teams including but not limited to M&A, DCM, ECM, TMT, NRG, Industrials, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Consumer, Retail and Metal & Mining etc.

- Work with the domain team and technology team to generate ideas on automation of various investment banking tasks and implementing those in client teams

- Training and development of team members

- Engage client stakeholders and identify potential growth opportunities with existing clients

- Perform in a fast paced environment with quick problem solving skills

Required Background

- Post-Graduation in Finance (MBA, CFA, CA etc.) or equivalent qualification

- Relevant experience of 10 - 12 years in Investment banking domain, preferably international experience.

- 2-3 years of front-end experience in an Investment Bank will be preferred

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Should have extensive experience of managing Pitch-books, modelling and valuation, industry and macro-economic studies, IM- s, etc

- Should have extensive team management experience leading teams of 30+

- The candidate should have the ability to work independently and possess the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his insights to client ideas
