Some boutique investment banks and corporates  Overview of the Vice President Role :   - A multi-faceted role requiring the individual to manage the Human Resources department independently including recruitment, strategy HR, and Training and Development  - Assist the SVP in the development and growth of the department  - This position will directly report to the Senior Management and will be a part of the core senior management of the company   - Post a couple of years, the company would also be looking to expand operations in other business lines, including the possibility of setting up another delivery center in a separate location  Responsibilities :   Strategic Contribution :  - Managing the entire Talent Acquisition Process across levels and functions, Career Management and Talent Development  - Working on Compensation and Benefit Plans  - Building and implementing a robust talent review and process, including succession planning, leadership development and organization capability   - Constantly reviewing the current HR practices reduce lead time/increase efficiency  - Analyzing and estimating short-term and long-term capacity (Manpower planning)  - Working on business HR policies and strategies  - Enhancing Employee Engagement & Communication   - Designing training courses and programs necessary to meet training needs  - Conducting post training analysis to measure training effectiveness.  - Identifying training needs and addressing the same  Leadership :  - Providing leadership in development of courses and training methodology  - Ensuring high levels of retention and achievement  - Creating Brand Equity in the market  - Coaching & Mentoring - Leadership Development including People Processes Maturity - Performance Management  - Building effectively the organizational culture and change management   - Evaluating existing HR processes, by defining problems, measuring current state of process, root cause analysis, developing solutions to improve the process and establishing measurement systems  - Managing the sustainability of the growing team strength  Operational Management :  - Building a plan for succession across key positions to ensure continuity in business performance  - Monitoring existing and emerging skills gaps, discuss plans for Individual Development or plans for acquisition of outside talent  - Discussing emerging manpower needs with the BU Head to build a contour of long-term business plans  - Managing the corporate on-boarding program across levels as well as the development of tools to help managers successfully on-board new employees  - Amending and revising program as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.  - Managing yearly training calendar  Prerequisites :  - Strong experience in the HR and Training and Development gamut  - 8 - 10 years of work experience in the HR space  Compensation :  - Commensurate with industry standards   Job Location : Andheri (E), Mumbai
