Role Objective

As the Head of Product Development, you will be leading the design and delivery of the next generation of all Software Products and Solutions, through the Scrum/AGILE development process. These applications and technologies span a variety of domains including web applications, mobile applications, analytics, machine learning, big data processing and social customer intelligence.

Job Responsibilities

- Deliver products and solutions with a clear competitive differentiation and value to business customers and vendors.

- Works with respective stakeholders in terms of planning and controlling the budgets related to planned and non-planned expense budgets.

- People Management in terms of recruitment / staffing / assignment / attrition / utilization / performance / skill & competency enhancement / coaching / mentoring / motivating against functional objectives / KRAs etc

- Project Management in terms of planning / scheduling / tracking & reporting / risk / escalation / issue resolution / stakeholders.

- Continuous update of and adherence to Software development processes to meet the mission stated above.

- Monitor and enforce necessary best practices for improving the identified KRAs.

- Planning, development, coordination and facilitation of Project.

- Plan & delegate tasks for timely delivery as per the company standards and within agreed framework.

- Business positioning of new product development projects after competitive analysis and landscaping with business and top management. Finalizing a product development blueprint or concept note with approved budget and timeline.

- Driving these projects with internal or external teams of Data Analyst, managers, labs and Telco- s

- Remaining up to date with latest market requirements, trends and TRAI regulations.

- Deciding with the top management team the product development policies, priorities, resource management and long-term goals of the company

Technical Skills

- Deep technical knowledge of web application development on highly scalable Java, J2EE and big data platforms

- Demonstrated experience in implementing culture, process, tools to deliver high quality software

- Experience in defining strategic vision and organizational planning
