Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities :
- Responsible to lead, manage and direct IPR operational activities to support all aspects of the formulation development and regulatory submission, including organise meetings with stakeholders, serves as a liaison with internal / external bodies and providing IPR operational plans to management.
- Responsible to provide management and administrative advice, guidance and information relating to the IPR strategies & operations.
- Responsible for patent search, literature search; various database search, patent landscape & infringement analysis, patent drafting & filing procedure, patent portfolio reports and negotiation of intellect property contracts & agreements.
Secondary Responsibilities :
- To prepare and deliver presentations relating to the IPR operational plans to the stakeholders and steering committee.
- Lead, manage and direct IPR operational activities to support all aspects of the formulation development and regulatory submission.
- Outstanding ability to manage communications, build positive working relationships, follow-ups and coordination with stake holders and external vendors.
- Extensive experience in intellectual property legal operations and profound knowledge of intellectual property matters.
- Deep knowledge of patent law, administrative procedures, legal analysis and reasoning techniques.
- Immense ability for patent landscape & infringement analysis, patent drafting & filing procedure and negotiation of intellect property contracts & agreements.
- Design, develop and deliver appropriate support systems to underpin the effective administration of IP and commercial activities.
- Preparations of patent portfolio reports and maintain highly accurate & up to date records against all activities.
- Remarkable ability to apply legal methodologies and make complex judgments.
- Evaluating third party IP rights and providing legal support for mergers & divestitures.
- Providing IP education to employees.
- To identify litigation matters that violate IP rights and ensuring all company operations adhere to Intellectual Property (IP) law.
- Carry out due diligence on new disclosures of intellectual property and commercial opportunities.
- Ad hoc projects when required.
- Any other duties as required.
Essential Experience, Skills And Abilities :
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
- Can demonstrate excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to demonstrate openness to change.
- A conscientious and innovative individual who shows attention to detail.
- Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to keep up-to date with pharmaceutical trends and developments
