The primary role of the the Global HR Business Partner is to devise and execute globally-consistent people and talent strategies in support of the Cloud Infra Operations business, assisting in delivering business and organisational objectives.

- The Ops Global HRBP will provide strategic HR guidance to the business in decisions that impact people, gather HR requirements, make and give feedback on proposals, and will ensure the people agenda is delivered by the management team.

- The role is strategically focused, building influential relationships with the management team, contributing to all aspects of the business, interpreting their needs with people programmes and projects that ensure the business elicit maximum employee engagement and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

- As a member of the strong, collaborative and proactive Operations Leadership team, act as a trusted advisor and confidante to the Operations BU leader, taking ownership and management of all people programmes and outcomes.

- Alignment of HR strategy with Group and Cloud Infra SBU HR priorities

- Support the transformation agenda of the Global service lines, Operations BU and Infra SBU overall

- Coordination and regular communication with Local HRBP's in-country as a virtual team

- Engagement with and input to the sales and bid processes as required, potentially participating in customer presentations

- Monitor and ensure appropriate grade pyramid and Average Remuneration Cost for the BU; drive onshore reskilling and restructuring

- Drive the Talent Management programme across the business areas in line with the global timeline and strategic talent review process. Ensure talent management is embedded into the business management processes taking account of future need and the correct onshore/offshore and gender Balance. Especially drive offshore talent development and progression

- Build the leadership pipeline, owning VP-level recruitment for the BU

- Focus on succession planning and develop strategies to bridge gaps which could involve strategic recruitment, leadership education, development initiatives, cross-country moves for example

- Working with the Global L&D head for Operations, oversee the development of specific training curricula for the business areas within Global L&D curriculum and identification of career paths and associated competency models

- Enable and facilitate the rightshore plans of the business area

- Senior team management including senior recruitment processes and standards, pay, performance management and deployment

- Employee survey analysis and action planning. Use employee survey data to develop the HR agenda for the business areas and increase employee engagement index

- Manage annual pay and performance cycle across the business areas

- Provide HR management information for the business areas

- An actively-contributing member of the Global Infra HR Leadership Team

Skills and Behaviours :

- Proven delivery track record in a global delivery environment

- Strong Business and Commercial awareness

- Confident self-starter; Robust; An agent of change

- Whilst an HR-specialist background is not a pre-requisite, a demonstrably strong people management capability is.

- Strong networker, influencer and team player

- Ability to manage the matrix and work with some degree of ambiguity

- Strategic thinker

- Adaptable to rapid change

- Highly flexible and fully mobile to be able to spend weeks as necessary in onshore locations

- Fluent in English
