They are looking for a senior candidate with prior experience and knowledge of risk management practices in a multinational bank to join their team in Mumbai as a Vice President

Job Description :

Reporting to the Head of Risk Analytics function, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities :

- Lead the quantitative and qualitative analysis on accounts that are at risk for fraudulent activity

- Understand strategies/opportunities in cross-functional risk teams such as Credit Card, Online Banking, Claims etc. to manage and control the risk around Credit and Debit Card and Claims Fraud

- Undertake risk assessment and control of fraud detection and prevention strategies, enhancements of processes, and strategy implementation

- Review and challenge recommended fraud prevention strategies ensuring comprehensive risk review while collaborating to solve business issues

- Lead a team and help in analyzing key risk indicators and metrics, enhance risk reporting, and identify new areas of analytic focus to better the business in capturing fraud

- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand and address key business challenges

The Successful Candidate :

As a Successful Applicant, you will have the following qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in Consumer Lending Business Analysis, Risk or related Financial Analysis

- Familiarity with analytical techniques like regression, decision trees, segmentation techniques, etc. and experience with portfolio management and/or loss forecasting

- Strong SAS programming, SQL programming skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to liaison with cross functional groups, present results to senior leaders, create effective presentations

- Prior leadership experience
