Vice President - Finance Process Controller - BFSI (10-15 yrs)
A Leading MNC - is looking for a Process Controller - where the incumbent shall be responsible for preparing regulatory reports, report submission, financial statements, collation. Also responsible for identifying controls issues and suggestions, SOX controls, updating the testing team . Should be hands on to find the discrepancies in the reports and suggest remedial measures.
Also the person shall have an innate responsibility for transformation and change management.
This shall be an Individual Contributor role.
Detailed JD :
- Process objectives: Partner with the Process Owner in meeting his/her defined objectives, strategy building for the process and carrying out various projects/initiatives like standardization, automation etc
Performance Management (KPI, KRIs etc.) :
- Defining meaningful performance metrics (Daily/monthly) which clearly depicts the health of the process
- Monitor performance with the help of regular reporting for metrics and trend analysis
- Identify gaps, carry out RCA and plan and track the execution of corrective actions with the team and process improvement experts, if required
- Manage Governance forums with stakeholders
Risk & Controls :
- Monitor the Risk and Control aspects of the process to ensure a strong and efficient control environment
- Regularly review the control environment (including control design) and take necessary corrective steps wherever required to plug in the gaps
- Ensure closure of all open control matters/IA matters/QAR observations/RCSA points within timelines agreed with appropriate remediation to ensure no recurrence of the issue
Projects : Regular tracking and ensuring completion of various projects/initiatives as per the defined timelines
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Understanding of finance process (Financial & Stat. reporting, Financial systems, Accounting, Consolidation, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Confident & professional communication style
- Good listening skills
- Ability & cultural sensitivity to motivate and inspire others
- Experience of working with remote teams across different cultures
- Excellent in Microsoft Excel, Power point and Word
WORK EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND :
- 10-12 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Finance transformation, Performance Management, Risk Assurance/Advisory (i.e. Internal Audit, SOX 404 etc) will be an add on
- Investment Banking Experience is an advantage

MBA Finance/ Management Accountant/ CA/ CIMA/ CIA/ CFA
