Job Description:

Education Requirements: Chartered accountant or MBA Finance with Min 11yrs+ corporate Finance domain experience with BPO/ITES/IT industry (MUST), Candidate should be at 4yrs+ AVP/Sr AVP or Equiv. level in any sizable BPO/ IT company. US listed / Global company experience preferred.

Team - 20 People, reporting to the Global Controller

Basic Function :

- Accounting & Reporting of India Geography Legal entities covering all the key processes like Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, T&E, Reconciliations

- Be the point of contact for F&A shared service in driving efficiencies, standardization & accuracy. Build transition plan for enhancing the penetration of the shared service in India Geography

- Be strategy lead for the Geography. Lead process transformation & productivity, benchmarking processes in scope. Lead in depth analytics of financials (MoM, QoQ, YoY)

- Active engagement with key stakeholders like Auditors, Finance leadership, Operating leadership and be effective business partner.

- Support IGAAP technical accounting and implement India Statutory Regulations like GST

Essential Functions :

- Closing and Reporting of India Geography, finalization and presentation of monthly financials to Controller & Senior Management

- Management Reporting of financials with analysis of financials (MoM, QoQ, YoY) for effective decision making and controls.

- Building required controls around financial processes and company assests/ processes to ensure zero leakage/ pilferage as custodian of the same.

- Internal & Statutory Audits, SOX Testing

- IGAAP Financials and Closure, Liaison with Internal & external auditors (Big 4) for smooth conduct of internal and stat audit.

- Guiding & Mentoring team around the dynamics and challenges in the accounting / Finance domain and keep updated with the changes

- User departments like Legal, HR, Technology, Facility

- CFO, Controller & Senior management, business leaders and enabling function heads

- Finance sub functions like Controllership India/PHP, Commercial, e-finance, taxation and SEC reporting team, FP&A

- Vendors

- Government & Other Regulatory bodies

Technical Skills :

- Technical Accounting expertise

- Strong hands on experience on end to end AP, FA, GL processes in ERP environment

- IGAAP accounting expertise

- India Statutory Framework eg GST & Income Tax

- SOX framework and operating within the control framework

- Financial Systems Oracle R12/11i expertise and process flow - ERP Experience Must

- Exposure to Coupa & Blackline will be an advantage

Soft Skills (Minimum) :

Good Communication & Presentation skills, stake holder management, team handling skills, Computer savvy
