Vice President - FCSU - Monitoring - Bank

Specific Role Requirements

- Seven to Twelve years of experience working in any of the following departments:

At least 4 years of working experience in AML and Terrorist Financing Surveillance

or Screening (name or transaction)

or banking operations

or in analyzing structure/ unstructured data for a multi-national bank.

- Knowledge on Financial Crime Compliance and banking:

- Certification in the field of Compliance, particularly ACAMS, preferred

- Good understanding of banking products, related transactions and their inherent ML risks with a special focus on at least one of the following customer segments: Retail, Private Banking or Corporates.

- Demonstrates extensive knowledge on Money Laundering typologies & techniques, sanctions compliance, country specific legislations & regulations

- Understanding of the purpose of various legislations and recommendations from international regulatory bodies and possesses comprehensive knowledge on how this is translated into Group Policies & procedures.

- Has an in-depth understanding of the surveillance processes and guides team members / colleagues on complex scenarios and decision making.

- Understands operational risks and controls

- Experience with AML surveillance systems such as Mantas or Detica.

Other tools and techniques:

- Able to recognise, evaluate and handle transactions and relationships with unusual / out of pattern activities

- Has working knowledge on Internet, MS Office Suite and is able to use this knowledge effectively at work
