Job description:

The Head of Risk and Compliance is responsible for Risk Management and Compliance functions. Should have relevant experience on Enterprise & Operational risk management. Ability to gauge risk and compliance impact of projects, propose risk mitigation solutions.

Operate as 2nd Line of Defence and Risk Specialist by providing advice, guidance, training and tools to enable embedding of risk management

Proficient in identifying & evaluating risk areas across operational activities.

Hands on experience in implementing strategic plan to prevent, eliminate & mitigate operational risks.

Experience in identifying ways of strengthening & measuring internal controls, improving efficiencies and adding value by matching organisational capabilities with client needs.

Performing Risk Assessments, Key Control Testing and Periodic Audits on regular basis to provide MI on control design and operating effectiveness.

Working with the Group Risk and Compliance functions to identify, assess and embed risk management practices, providing governance, guidance, support and advice managers on risk management and contribute to the growth and development of the business at a senior organisational and commercial level.

- Operational Risk Principles, Practices and Implementation (ORM)

- ERM Framework Principles and Practices and Implementation(ERM)

- Financial Crime/KYC/AML.

- Information security

- Expertise in regulations that govern Benefit solutions and Insurance broking in India, UK,US, Australia and Asia (preferred)

- Risk & Control Assessment and Root Cause Analysis

- Operational Risk Principles, Practices and Implementation

- ERM Framework Principles and Practices and Implementation

- Risk Review and Challenge

Key accountability :

- Responsible for the support and implementation of Risk and Compliance efforts for the company and promotion of an ethical and legally compliant business culture. Partner with senior management and regional compliance teams to achieve desired compliance results. Accountable for ensuring participation and execution of compliance standards in the areas of Compliance policy, Professional Standards, Client Service Agreements and Errors and Omissions (E and O).

- Actively participates on appropriate executive, leadership, and/or operating committees, so as to ensure the Risk and Compliance function is integrated with business operations.

Desired :

- 12 -15 Years of post-qualification experience in Financial Services, Banking, Investments, Insurance, working in senior risk and compliance roles within complex global organisations

- Expertise in Enterprise risk management & Operational Risk management(mandate)

- Experience of Financial crime/fraud/ KYC and BC

- Should have experience on information security domain
