Vice President - Enterprise Datawarehouse

Responsibilities :

- Understand Business needs and able to convert them into technical specs

- Co-ordinate monthly release items for ETL and Reporting between vendor teams and client

- Expert on developing ETL code like Informatica tool

- Expert on BI reporting and Analytics on tools like Business Object, QlikView

- Handle ongoing request for information (RFI), regulatory, and audit needs

- Mange people and daily task

- Work with a team as a process-oriented person and adhering to the organization's product development standards

- Be an effective leader and a mentor for the vendor team

- Familiar with regulatory requirements and handling sensitive incidents

- Working with other development groups to understand/gain access to data

- Co-ordination and communication with Global leadership teams

Key Responsibilities :

- Technology expert in area of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Analytics

- Excellent communication and written skills and prepared to work across time zones

- Experience with project management software and developing/implementing best practices

- Strong understanding of SDLC and proven track record of operational efficiency

- Strong technology skill background with good working knowledge of Informatica, Sybase OR Oracle, XML & Messaging, Real Time data integration

- Strong SQL skills and a thorough understanding of database constructs

- Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills

- 8+ years experience in BI design and management in a production environment

- Performance trouble shooting and remediation

- Experience with data model designing and modeling tools

- Ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versions

- Fluent in SQL, UNIX Shell and Perl
