Vice President - Business Analyst - Investment Bank

In this role, the Business Analyst will be required to:

- Work closely with the Global PC/ FA/IT teams and related Change teams, and be involved in the execution of various initiatives planned as part of the Book of Work under various programs impacting FTB and Local Regulatory Reporting LE Prime programme and any extension of the programme

- Use Business Analysis tools and techniques to capture and clearly articulate the as-is business processes, identify problems and inefficiencies and define business requirements for process improvements

- Serve as a liaison with managers of line functions to identify, define and accurately document business requirements following best practice

- Manage requirements and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that requirements are delivered as specified, and change impact assessments can be made

- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders and develop and use understanding of business processes and related issues. Develop multiple solution options and convey the pros and cons to ensure clear understanding of impact across the organization

- Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for integration, functional, performance and user acceptance testing.

- Identify and escalate where appropriate project risks and issues associated to requirements gathering, analysis and design

- Design training and support documentation for new projects

- Ensure compliance with established guidelines for accurate and timely project delivery milestones

You Offer:

1. Domain knowledge/ experience of product control and financial accounting within investment banking - that is, should have been associated with the finance division of an investment bank in some capacity

2. Exposure to FTB or Local Regulatory Reporting related projects is essential but not mandatory

3. Change experience in above is preferred, however BAU/ line experience with change exposure is also fine

4. Change experience, it should as be as a Business Analyst and not Project Manager

5. As a business analyst or as an end user, experience of functional testing and willingness to be involved in functional testing in this role is essential

6. A robust understanding of the various investment bank trading/banking products (equities, fixed income, repos, FX, OTC and exchange traded derivatives, loans, money markets etc.) and the accounting related to these products

7. Should be strong at data analysis with tools such as Excel, SQL, MS Access etc.

8. Should be articulate in writing and verbal communications and able to multi-task and deal effectively with multitude of stakeholders at junior and middle levels

9. Ability to work remotely, in different time zones and handle global interactions plus planning skills & cost consciousness

10. Ideally a post-graduation or graduation from a reputed institute in financial management/accounting
