Our client is a reputed NBFC in the Corporate Lending space. We are looking for a Legal Counsel for their Mumbai office. Preference is for a Female professional with atleast 8 to 10 years experience
Description :
The Structured Finance and Corporate Lending group handles debt and structured lending transactions. This position would be assisting the Head - Legal in directly working with the structured finance group for all transactions and general advisory. The role requires interactions with external firms and companies for execution of all transaction documents, closing related support and assistance to the reporting manager for all transaction related work.
- The role will also include advising the team on its statutory obligations while keeping in mind the interests of the company and interacting with internal stakeholders for processes.
- The candidate should have extensive experience in drafting, and reviewing senior debt and structured debt transactions.
- The candidate should be proficient in debenture subscription processes, various loans by NBFCs and security creation.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of security related laws and processes, NBFC and banking regulations, SARFAESI, Companies Act and FPI/FVCI regulations.
- The role will require coordination with external law firms, borrowers and internal teams on various syndicated, structured and project financing deals.
- The role will involve assisting the reporting manager on various on-going issues and provide relevant regulatory updates from time to time.
- The candidate will need to have proficient communication skills.
- The candidate should have the ability to work under high pressure situations and run with multiple transactions together
Education : LL.B. Preference for those who have further done LLM
