Looking for a Sales Manager for the brand VANS to handle North & East regions

The Sales Manager would be responsible for driving the sales function of the Vans Brand at a regional level. Maximizes profitability and top line revenue for the business, through distribution expansion and strong comp growth. Maintains the integrity of the brand positioning and presentation in all revenue channels.

Responsibilities:

- Act as the principal contact in the development and servicing of strategic accounts, EBO franchisees and distributors, maintaining positive relationships with their senior management.

- Takes ownership of channel level forecasting, seasonal initiatives and monthly sales plan execution in line with the brand and organizational goals.

- Works closely with the Vans product team to drive channel right assortments to maximize sell thru, and reduce level of season end markdowns.

- Ensures correct brand positioning in mono and multibrand retail. Works closely with the retail team for on-time execution of seasonal VM and sales collateral at point of sales.

- Ensures timely execution of stocks fills against pre-orders, and monitors merchandise flow and replenishment

- Responsible for timely collection of account receivables, with minimum deviation from the agreed commercial terms.

- Regularly provide and analyze sales performance reports in order to identify opportunities and gaps.

- Conducts seasonal trade-shows and sell-in sessions across multiple locations across the country, interacting and selling in directly to dealer networks.

- Manage and motivate store teams; set team and individual goals which align with the brand goals. Works closely with human resources team to develop and implement store associate training programs.

- Identify and develop potential new retail store opportunities, working together with the retail development team.

- Drive coordination and execution of on-ground marketing initiatives.

Desired Skills & Experience:

4-6 years of directly relevant sales experience, with exposure to managing business at a zonal level. In addition to strategic account management skills and new business development (distributors/franchisees), should possess knowledge and experience of account/store profitability models, and channel level assortment planning. Experience in sportswear/apparel industry a plus, with a participatory interest in sports and/or active lifestyle.
