This role is a part of Production Engineering services team, working as Team Leader (Tech Transfer & Training) supporting different Blade factories in Vestas Worldwide.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for project cost base for production lines

Responsible for Training materials, Lesson plans & Training development records.

Control & monitor company assets in various locations.

Monitor lifecycle and movement information on all assets.

Track & report shipments for projects

Design layout of equipment and workspace

Cycle time study of equipment and define capacity

Reporting & continuous improvements.

Coach & Train team members to meet objectives.

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical

At least 10 to 15 year experience in manufacturing industry

Experience in handling teams & project management activities

Competencies:

Able to have an overall understanding of the price, cost build and work breakdown structure

Knowledge on project accounting

Knowledge of multimedia and authoring tools

Knowledge on AutoCAD & other design tools

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Working Knowledge on ERP (Infor XA / SAP)

Good knowledge on PDM (Windchill)

Fluent in English (Oral & Written)

Proficient in MS Excel & Power point

Must have the drive and enthusiasm to work to tight deadlines

Should be a six sigma black belt certified

Your primary workplace will be Vestas India, Chennai. However the Company reserves the right to transfer the employee to a different location/ department to suit business needs
