We are looking out for talent with the following skills to be a part of our team.  Roles and Responsibilities:  We are looking for a MRO commodity buyer for procurement function at VAXIA to completely manage the commodity procurement for VAXIA with external suppliers through vendor identification/Development, RFIs/RFPs, floating RFQ, Negotiation and Contracting with suppliers.  - The ideal candidate needs to have experience of working in the Industrial/ Manufacturing sector, dealing with manufacturers and large distributors. Prior experience working in an eCommerce company will be an advantage.  - Identify opportunities at individual Purchase Order level to negotiate with the suppliers for achieving Price Savings, Cost Avoidance & Working Capital improvements.  - Working closely with Category Management team and contribute to achieve the Individual and Team Goals/Initiative.  - Obtain Quotes from Suppliers for Procurement of Materials.   - New suppliers needs to be added in the system with the approval from the Sourcing Management   - Process Purchase Requisitions for MRO materials. Maintain 100% accuracy on PO Price, Payment Terms and Delivery Date.   - Ensure PO's are issued in compliance with all Sourcing policies & procedures as per the business.   - Follow up with the suppliers to get timely confirmations & validate them. Ensure adequate inventory level at supplier end.  - Invoice Hold issues are resolved timely to make sure no material hold.  - Own the vendor payment processing process working with the finance team  - Manage the Return order process & credit recovery for the assigned materials.  Desired Qualification & Skills:  - A Bachelor's degree with minimum 2+ years of experience in Sourcing/ Purchase/ Procurement function. Candidates with MBA in operations will be preferred  - The candidate must have prior experience in Indirect Materials Procurement (MRO)  - The Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills with all the levels of employees and management as the candidate will be required to liaise with Category managers and Suppliers.  - Prior experience working on ERPs is desirable.  - The candidate should be well versed with MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)  - Must have analytical skill.  - The candidate should be able to Lead, Mentor a group of suppliers.  - Good Negotiation Skills.  - Ability to multi-task and work in challenging environment.  - Knowledge of Commodities (MRO: Maintenance, Repair and Operations) is required.  Brief information about our USP, Core Values and Value proposition is also available at www.vaxia.com
