Solution architects Technology & architecture (SAP), Information Technology.  Purpose:		  SAP technology architect provides architecture and technical support to the Varroc SAP instance.  The primary responsibility of this role is to work with developers, technology partners, In-house functional team and BPM to ensure the regional SAP system supports the Varroc business processes, and is seen to provide a competitive advantage for the business.   The Tech IT solution architect will also contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Enterprise Systems Solutions (ESS) team through active participation in ESS activities and provision of technical and functional support & projects across the various Enterprise Systems processes where possible.  - Single point gate keeper for all technologies (ABAP, BAPI, IDOCs etc) of SAP   - Implementation rollouts and Upgrade projects. Involve in all phases of SDLC & ITIL methodology.   Over 7 years of Application Development and Consulting experience in SAP/Enterprise Resource Planning Applications. SAP certified consultant in ABAP/4, XI and any one of the functional module :  a) SAP interface technology /cross application technologies and develop interfaces to integrate different applications, business partners and process chain - EDI, IDOCS, WORKFLOW, RFC, ALE and BAPI.   b) Interface administration and review. Integrated SAP and Legacy systems. Working knowledge of web method.  c) Apply techniques of ABAP programming for implementations, rollouts, technical upgrades and support projects, which includes Reports, Data Migration, LSMW, Interfaces, Conversion, Object oriented programming, BADI, BDC, RFC, WebDynpro, Dialog, Call Transaction, User Exits, Workflow, Enhancement Framework, Sapscript and Smartforms.  d) Working knowledge of SAP SD, MM and FI modules in multi plant/location/country environment. Complex pricing scenarios, Integrated Interplant sales process.  e) Implemented multiple business value adds with clients resulting in significant $ savings in development and support costs with better maintainable objects.  f) Data migration techniques during rollouts and implementation of new business process.  g) SAP version upgrades  h) Knowledge of third party BI tool integration.  - CR (change request) effort estimates and feasibility study. Manages execution and communication.  - Part of change control board and architecture review.  - Manage relationship with ITS, IT-BRM, BPM (regional MRC & country based) and GPOs at technology  Level.  - Act as solution architect for technology.  - Technical changes and enhancements. Manage/overview L3/L2 work and also back up.  - Problem solving and resolution of testing issues.
