As the Solution Support / Presales [Lead / Manager] you will be part of the Solution Support Office for RFP responses and solution architecture as well as proactive product / services for our new / existing customers.

You will work closely with the Optum Global Solutions teams in implementing the SS functions execution plan for growth and development of service offerings for the Healthcare Payer and Provider markets. You will engage with market / segment specific Growth Directors, Solution Engineers and product / service leaders on OGS opportunities to develop and implement innovative solutions to meet customer demand and manage responsibilities for solution ideation, creation, development, and implementation

Job Responsibilities:

- Create pre-sales documentation and RFP / RFI responses. You will be responsible for RFP / Bid responses and proactive solution offering for Healthcare customer business needs for new and existing solutions

- Support OGS Growth Development team and Solution Engineering professionals with formulating solution strategies for sale and delivery to end healthcare payer and provider businesses

- Effectively communicate via both written and verbal presentations directly with stakeholders in support of sales efforts

- Work closely with product / services and marketing SMEs to collaborate, document and communicate existing and prospective customer needs

- Review and assess external emerging technologies and standards for applicability to OGS product and services offerings and provide appropriate point-of-views and research & analysis

- Provide detailed technical documentation and schematics to Technology and Operations teams to assist in customer implementations

- You will be responsible to design solution architecture to meet business requirements and enterprise standards and contribute the subject matter expertise

- Work with product / service vendors and/or partners for working in collaboration on RFPs. You will also be responsible to forge partnerships with product and service vendors.

- Will be responsible for project managing and integration of the solution by working closely with all the Practices, verticals & any other stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and MBA or equivalent preferred.

- Professional experience required, including experience in customer-related sales support activities among which analyzing customer business needs and strong pre-sales management skills including thorough knowledge of the sales process

- Self-motivated, hardworking, results orientated and problem solver with a positive outlook.

- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and written

- In-depth knowledge of Java and .NET architectures and experience with other architectures and disciplines that are currently significant in the IT industry such as SOA, Web 2.0, Cloud, Mobile, Social, System Integration, Agile Development, etc.

- Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience with at least 3 years in technology, consulting, presales or account management teams within large IT organizations preferably in US healthcare related to payer and provider businesses

- Strong experience of US Healthcare Payer and Provider businesses including various IT systems

- Should have excellent client interfacing skills, energetic and an outstanding collaborator / team player and comfortable in dealing with individuals at very senior levels.

- Should have a good track record of commercial success in presales & solution architecture domain

- Certification in an Industry standard such as TOGAF, Zachman will be preferred
