Job Description :

Position Overview :

- We are looking for someone to build and lead this new function, a visionary who gets excited about using data insights to drive HealthCare related business decisions at all levels. The right candidate thrives on blazing new paths in clinical related research; developing complex modeling that serves business needs, and helping Optum Operations maximize ROI on business operations.

- The role will require be to partnering with Operations team to collect and analyze data, offer actionable analysis and reporting to managers and executives, and interface with operations and other business functions to serve their data needs.

Job Responsibilities :

- Deliver reporting solutions, Provide expert level consulting and management of expert level consultants to identify and support Healthcare Operations and business reporting and data needs, initiate and prioritize reporting tool enhancement, and prepare report and reporting solution specifications.

- Build partnerships with development teams work closely with internal technology teams and vendors to deliver tools and system solutions, provide monthly review and assessment of the business solution performance and adoption

- Responsible for the design and implementation of self-services reporting tools and data management that reflects the complexity of multiple separate and unique networks, inconsistent business unit platforms, and the complexity of global company

- Responsible for the design and maintenance of Clinical analytics

- Summarize written findings, publicize results, and participate and share with senior leadership as appropriate.

- Lead the interpretation of Clinical data in order to identify significant differences, relationships, and trends in data, as well as factors that could affect the results of research. Report results of statistical analyses in the form of graphs, charts, tables and advanced visualizations tools such as Tableau

- Develop predictive models for attrition, high performance, and recruiting demand etc

- Develop, own and optimize existing reports

- Manipulate and analyze large datasets using analytic features of multiple tools

- Identify statistical analysis techniques required to deliver insights.

- Advance the use of complex analytical techniques and statistical thinking across Operations

- Serve as an active participant on cross-functional project teams and provide guidance and training to teams in asking appropriate questions, interpreting data, and translating into action.

- Develop and maintain appropriate benchmarks with other organizations

- Work closely with his / her manager and internal/external clients to understand the business problem and contribute towards approach design.

- Strong Project management skills; Ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment, effectively prioritize ones time, manage expectations and deliverables. A self-starter, who proactively drives projects, looks for new and better ways of doing things, can lead and gain consensus. Shows drive, passion and a sense of ownership.

Qualification :

Desired Profile :

- 12 - 14 years of experience in Consulting / Healthcare Analytics experience

- Advanced degree (B-Tech / M-Tech / MBA.) from Top-tier institute.

- Prior Healthcare Experience is a must

- Should have a prior experience in setting up KPO division in an organization

- Strong exposure to MSExcel (including VBA), MSPowerPoint & an analytical bent to slice-dice business data

- Good communication skills (both oral & written) in order to participate in project discussions internally within the team & with end customers

- Ability to make need-based travel (approx. 25 - 30%) specific to projects in short notice (including internationally)

General :

- Self-driven, ability to work independently and facilitate change

- Ability to work in a fast paced, technical, cross functional environment

- Excellent Visual design sense regarding clear and accurate presentation of data

- Ability to work projects from inception to completion

- Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills in order to meet multiple deadlines; comfortable working in a high paced/high production area

- Desire and ability to learn new skills, systems and processes

- Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
