We are now inviting Resumes for the positions in the Corporate Finance Team.

Positions: AVP/Manager

Job role:

Primary function is to manage corporate finance requirements of the Group, including investee companies as well as holding company.

Responsibilities:

Fund Raising

- Strategize and arrange debt funding for the Group;

- Assist in fund raising activities including preparation of memos, interaction with potential investors and bankers, management of due-diligence exercise, preparation and negotiation of term sheets & definitive documents from end-to-end;

- Assist in arranging non-funded facilities for the Group;

- Manage interaction with banks on key matters like interest rate, project performance, refinancing etc.

- Manage relationship with banks at Group level with respect to existing debt/facilities.

Strategy and Planning

- Develop short-term and long-term business plans and financial projections and periodically monitor and assess financial performance of the Group

- Develop financial planning and budgeting tools to provide critical financial and operational information to the senior management

- Assist the senior management in engaging the board, finance, audit, and investment committees around issues, trends, and changes in the finance related matters

Investments & Portfolio

- Continuous monitoring of the performance of all investee companies to ensure realization of desired returns;

- Assist Investments team to evaluate, structure, negotiate and execute potential investments opportunities through bids and / or acquisitions, particularly from debt financing perspective;

- Assist in conducting due diligence and preparation of investment proposals;

- Assist in negotiation of terms and conditions of detailed term sheets / definitive documents with potential partners/sellers, particularly from debt financing perspective;

- Assist the investee companies in special (strategic) assignments / situations related to development of projects;

Relationship Management

- Maintain healthy relationships with bankers, financial advisors, rating agencies, investors/shareholders etc.

Qualification and Experience

Education

- MBA - Finance from the premier B-Schools only.

Relevant Experience

- 2 - 7 years of relevant experience in financing / investments / banking;

- Prior experience in Infrastructure (project)financing / investments is a pre-requisite; and

- Expertise in transportation sector of Infrastructure

Other requirements

- Good understanding of Indian infrastructure sector, including debt raising, financing/banking environment, investment environment, investment risks and regulatory issues;

- In-depth understanding of infrastructure (project) financing, financial concepts, and corporate finance / investment functions; and

- Strong financial modeling skills and presentation preparation abilities.
