JOB PROFILE  Job Position: Landscape SME – Finance 	  Function: Innovation  WL: 2A	  Reports to: ES Landscape Delivery Manager   Scope: Europe   Location: India  Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job  Unilever has four large and complex landscapes and a number of global applications. Furthermore new functionality distributed amongst existing and new landscapes is added continuously and often implemented through global project initiatives. Therefore the size and user basis, the complexity and the dependency between the system components are growing.  The Landscape SMEs play a critical role in terms of retaining landscape specific knowledge, acting as a template gatekeeper for resilience, partnering with local and global project teams to ensure designs fit to the landscape, global designs and landscape gaps are worked out in detail and implemented, the landscape is kept well performing and healthy through functional checks, continuous improvements, technical projects in relevant area. Landscape SME is also responsible for coordinating run escalations for complex incidents, issues to achieve target uptime levels for the landscape.   This role is functional, landscape Finance SME is supposed to carry out the role for all finance functions on the core applications working on the respective landscape.   Main Accountabilities  Projects / Changes   - Landscape SME has an active role in all projects / changes landing on the respective landscape, tightly coupling with the PMs, global SMEs in that area, he/she is directly responsible for the design and implementation of the projects / changes regarding own area for the landscape.   - He/she needs to provide full governance on the AD vendors working for the landscape, control the scope, design, build and test activities which are relevant to the responsibility area. Vendor resources which provide expertise for landscape activities should be governed by the respective landscape SMEs.  - He/she needs to work very closely with global and landscape release mng teams in terms of gates, AD control and approvals for project, act as the main template gatekeeper for own area on the template.   - He/she should input all landscape knowledge to the project high level and functional and technical designs and should sign off design from landscape perspective and oversight all the build and test activities by the vendor based on that design.   - He/she is also responsible for putting root cause analysis together for critical incidents for own area with vendor resources and AM teams.   - He/she is responsible for all the landscape level projects, small projects implemented on the landscape for own area, will sign off and follow progress, deal with issues, escalations, will engage with vendor resources, service delivery, EC, GEOG IT, BO and key users when required.   Run Escalations   - Landscape SME is the single point of contact for AM teams for run escalations, L3 support on complex incidents, problem tickets for own area. He/she needs to coordinate resolutions of these with the vendor teams.   - He/se should govern vendor resources to resolve L3 escalations, measure their performance and coordinate any improvements required.   Continuous improvements   - Landscape SME should be part of all continuous improvements in BAU, in own area through regular checks, planned services, actions out of root cause analysis.  - He/she works with relevant vendor resources, global SMEs, GEOG IT, BO and infr resources where relevant.   - He/she coordinates improvements on the performance of the transactions / custom codes in own area with other relevant teams.   Direct Reports	  Key Interfaces  - Vendor AD resources   - Accenture Solution Managers or other subject matter experts in vendor teams	  - AD & AM Suppliers  - Innovation SMEs and PMs  - Business Operations  - GEOG IT  - Countries   - GRM team, Landscape Release Team  - Rest of the landscape teams  - SDMs, ASMs, Basis Teams, Infr teams   Critical success Factors for the Job  Key Skills	  Relevant Experience  - Holding People Accountable  - Bias for Action  - Organisational Awareness  - Strategic Influencing  - Rigorous Approach/Attention to Detail	  Functional Innovation Role in SAP projects   Leadership Behaviours  - Should "meet expectations" on the Standards of Leadership behaviours relevant to the WL of this job.
