Role will cover a broad set of strategic & operational responsibilities focusing on:

- Engagement with senior stakeholders in MCO IT, Regional Business & Regional ITBP teams for ensuring that application services are delivered as per business expectations.

- Working with Lead Application Support Manager (ASM) in implementing the Global Data Services Strategy for the identified applications including planning, setting up the support for the applications.

- Working in coordination with the Program teams and managing the transition of application responsibility from the Program team to the Application Maintenance Team.

- Working with Lead Application Support Manager (ASM) in setting up and managing contracts with the Application Maintenance vendor and ensuring that these contracts address the service level, legal and contractual requirements

- Managing operational delivery of services by the vendor teams and ensuring that the agreed service levels and KPIs are being met

- Developing and working with the vendor teams to implement service improvement actions for continuous improvement of service.

- Working with vendor management in developing and maintaining the required capability and skills in the application maintenance teams

- Working with Lead Application Support Manager (ASM) in management of relationship with multiple vendors delivering the application maintenance services. Strategic planning for consolidation of services and vendors in the ‘Application Maintenance Services’ part of the organization in the areas.

- Setting up and managing of the governance mechanisms for vendor delivery including periodic reviews and meetings as per the defined governance mechanism

- Knowledge of IT application support and maintenance processes, operating ITIL / PRISM processes

- Experience in managing larger vendor AM teams and working with external support relationships

- Knowledge of areas such as software development lifecycle, IT strategy, IT process excellence, six sigma, IT portfolio management

- Is familiar with all aspects of Application Support & Maintenance and Service Delivery

- Experience and cultural awareness required to work effectively with a global team

- Knowledge of ETL, SAP BODS or Teradata
