Driving innovation and creativity to deliver competitive advantage is at the heart of what the I&A team delivers.   - The team is made up of data experts and specialists who transform data to insight using analytical tools and techniques to deliver competitive advantage for Unilever.  Main purpose of job :  The Information & Analytics BI MD Solution Delivery Manager is responsible for :  - Drive Global BI MD Solution Delivery function, providing end-to-end Technical solutions across Capability functions.  - Being the key point of contact for Global BI MD manager providing for our customer information and analytics needs  The successful applicant will :  Project Management :  - Drive the Global BI MD Solution Delivery function, providing end-to-end leadership across functions  - Manage end to end delivery of all Global BI Master Data Track solution. Be End responsible for the process from Gap Analysis to final release in production and hand over to AM.  - Partner with I&A Technical Towers (e.g. TDA for Connect) and ETS Functional Engagement teams and global business function champions/sponsor and ensure that all Master data build is within I&A and Master data agreed set of priorities  - Ensure and implement Master Data Governance Process for Strategic and Cross capability Master Data Objects across I&A Functions  - Work with Functional counterparts to ensure concise plans are developed to support Business requirement in-line with project schedule. Work with Line managers & Domain Leads for Resource allocation. Ensure that the total cost of project ownership is minimized by using optimally managing vendor offshore-onshore ratio.  - Support the definition and enforce the governance of common master data standards for all functions; Drive Simplification and prevent rework, Support BI MD Manager "design authority" for Master data objects in the Information & Analytics arena. Partner with Capability teams while enforcing that the proper Global MD objects are being leveraged.  - Support Line Manager with Strategic design and software solutions.  Delivery Management :   - Developing and Delivering Master Data solutions to the functional capabilities  - Be end responsible for Master Data governance and solution delivery leadership across all functions  - Partner with Core I&A MD Functional Managers & Domain leads & SME Leads to drive Business requirements to achieve viable technical solutions.  - Ensure a Technical design meets per the agreed functional design, co-working with the assigned technical resources  - Work closely with Vendor Delivery teams to provide cost and effort estimates to evaluate CR time-lines and delivery dates.  - Continually reduce solution build/model time-lines from weeks through efficient communication and facilitation with other stakeholders to ensure on time and in full solutions keeping within allocated budgets.  - Work closely with Technical modelers and Connect Technical design authorities to arrive at the best technical solution to all business asks  - Assist SDM and AM with the Post go-live support and final move to BAU and resolution of all incidents needing design alterations.  - Deliver jointly with functional capability teams a convergence plan for take up of standard Master Data objects  - Enforce the use of Standardized Master Data by working with capabilities to ensure maximum utilization of Master data standardized content to ensure the integrity of delivered reporting solutions across capabilities  - Ensure Technical design is understood and delivered correctly by the development team and delivered to.  - Guide the development team with experience when required.  - Actively monitor development teams and escalate any issues foreseen to line manager.  Lead Manager in delivering Trusted and Joined up Data ecosystems :   - Actively Support Line Manager in Providing superior information services to the function  - Lead delivery of Analytical MDM delivery of Capability use-case demand  - Provide support for the functional information area, including information applications  - Provide technical support and guidance to Line manager in selection and adoption of new technologies under Master Data  - Support Service Performance & KPI's for live Connect & other IT solutions (BAU) around System Performance and Data OTIF, including level 3/4 BI system support  - Actively monitor level of customer satisfaction, at regular intervals or after each significant delivery of product or service. Respond to customer queries and complaints. Ensure that corrective action is taken by own organization and by the customer organization.   - Ensure a high level of data quality is achieved during project delivery and in BAU through the timely engagement of DQ Analysts to each capability reporting team  Release Management :   - Ensuring all Solution delivery to land in production system with no disruption to BAU and being single point of contact for all Release activities  - Coordinate all major and minor releases into Connect. Be Responsible for all items listed for the releases in the Gate template for all changes and ensure the On-time completion of each deliverable for every Gate.  - Work closely with Connect Release tower to provide all support for Deployment, SIT, Co-existence and Regression testing to ensure on time and in full deployments of all objects in Production.  - Provide the Project road map to both business stakeholders and the development team to help plan for future releases and deployments.  Vendor Management and Rating :   - Actively manage Software Vendor (e.gKalido, SAP) on product Enhancements/issues & Service Vendor  - Partner with Line manager in relationships with Kalido, SAP to ensure correct enhancements are covered by software on future releases  - Lead in escalating any product issues.  - Partner with Line manager in relationships with Cap Gemini, Accenture, Informaticaon day to day project/task deliverables to ensure agreed timelines are achieved.  - Within this role, Manager will have responsibility managing 3rd party contractors (e.g Cap Gemeni, Accenture, Informatica). In addition, Manager will have dotted line responsibilities working closely with BI Master Data Functional tower leads to deliver overall solution in meeting Business/Capability team demands  Key accountabilities :  Accountable for defining, approving, documenting and communicating EDW standards :  - Partner directly with ETS functional engagement teams and global business function IM team/sponsors/champions to understand the business functional needs and ensure in-line with I&A Master Data agreed set of priorities.   - Enforce MD Governance process in-place of Strategic Master Data objects across functions.  - Enforce Master Data governance and solution delivery leadership across all functions.  - Work with Functional counterparts to ensure concise plans are developed to support Business requirement in-line with project / task schedule. Work with Line managers & Domain Leads for Resource allocation.  - Ensure a Technical design meets per the agreed functional design, co-working with the assigned technical resources.   - Deliver to agreed Requirements, design and timelines - within Budget. Effectively manage Scope Creep.  - Support the definition and enforce the governance of common master data standards for all functions; Drive Simplification and prevent rework, Support BI MD Manager "design authority" for Master data objects in the Information & Analytics arena. Partner with Capability teams while enforcing that the proper Global MD objects are being leveraged.  - Assess trade-offs between speed (Tactical vs. EIP), benefits and costs to deliver timely solutions - while adhering to established standards.  - Design & Deliver solutions considering the performance impact and user-friendliness  - Ensure Project Plan deliverables is implementable by resource team in plausible timelines.  - Drive simplification of current processes and automation of existing processes/tools in delivering Master data to Information capabilities.  - Support Line Manager with Strategic design and software solutions  - Assist Line Manager in driving of Delivery of Global Hierarchies, FIM, Master data Track capabilities - while supporting all functional capabilities Master data needs.  - Ensure the changes introduced by projects / requests are manageable from support perspective & meet any Sarbanes Oxley Audit requirements.  - Interact with Change Management and project/implementation teams on required basis.
