Job Title: Global IT Procurement Manager IT Services & Outsourcing  EXPECTED WORK  - Global Supply Manager is part of the Global Indirects Procurement team and Network   - Global spend on Indirects for Internalr is app.   - Global strategy to drive Indirects spend is a new way of working, and GSM's in this spend area need to be change agents with good engagement skills.   Candidate must have high level of business and IT acumen to act as an internal consultative partner to the various areas within IT required to support the business. Candidate must have significant experience in global supply management to strategize, influence and execute the suppliers in the best interest in alignment with procurement processes and expectations.  Global Strategy building and execution  - Accountability for local to global strategy development supporting the Global category strategy for IT Outsourcing  - Application Service Management/Delivery, Infrastructure- and End User Services (IT Help Desk and Desk Side Support)  - Support and partially Lead global and regional strategic sourcing activities to professionalize the sourcing of materials / clusters of external spend within area of spend responsibility.   - Drive aggressively the global savings agenda   - Further accelerate LCC (Low Cost Country) Sourcing for the portfolio in line with global aspirations  - Ensure full buy in of business partners in Supply Chain, Unilever Enterprise & Technology Solutions  - Coordinate regional portfolios selectively and leverage global opportunities thereof  - Drive sourcing professionalism and rigor across spend areas in a proactive manner  - Focus on overall Procure to Pay process and compliance management  - Provide market insights and market movements to global stakeholders  - Focus in the areas of IT Services and Software \ Applications with the capability to provide sourcing support across all areas of IT including hardware, services and networking.  SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT  - Manage commercial aspect of Global Supplier Relationships, identify new suppliers and Supply Markets  - Conduct global negotiations and tenders and agree allocation to regions and suppliers  - Drive global supplier optimization program  - Engage suppliers on Unilever's Innovation & sustainability agenda responding to Category needs  - Quality, contract and Service Level Agreement improvement programs with suppliers  - Develop and agree cost models for main material clusters  - Global Supplier Performance Management  - Drive service line vendor governance management improvement plans  - Accountable for contract management and adherence to external compliance   GENERAL  - Engage key stakeholders proactively, sell the value proposition of Indirects Procurement  - Drive best in class business processes, tools and practices including eAuctions & Catalogues  - Ensure that supply agreements, commercial terms & conditions, specification information and pricing information including changes is communicated accurately and in a timely fashion to appropriate operational teams/individuals  SCOPE OF ROLE   - The role is a global position managing IT Services related spend to the value circa - 400m per annum. The supply base is limited to 15 preferred vendors operating at a global level but with a significant - tail- of low value legacy and heritage suppliers (3000+) operating in country at low level. The role supports Enterprise Solutions, Infrastructure & Employee Services liaising with respective Directors and stakeholders. It also business partners Geographical IT.  Contracts are longer term in nature (3+1+1yrs) and therefore carry a greater proportion of risk with regards to flexibility and commercial risk. There is generally a contract associated with each preferred vendor and contract values  PROBLEM SOLVING  - Development of Sourcing Strategies to meet the changing nature of UL IT Applications Architecture.  - Navigating internal politics of stakeholders and consolidating opinions to achieve speed and bias for action  - Identifying and sourcing the next generation of System Integration and IT Services Vendors and Low Cost Sourcing  Markets to meet the business needs.  PERSONAL PROFILE  - University Educated  - +5 years experience of IT Outsourcing and offshore delivery with strong knowledge in best practices: commercial models, contracting and negotiations  - Strong procurement working knowledge of Application-, Infrastructure- and People Services for Global mid - large size RFI/RFP processes.  - Project management, change management, information management, with fluent spoken English, business acumen  - Global Mindset, Team Alignment, Real Accountability, Action not Debate, engagement, perseverance
