Unilever - Foundation Service Release Manager

- The planning and management of application and infrastructure changes into major, minor and emergency releases, ready for testing and live deployment.

- The creation of the Release Policy Document describing the desired volume of content for major and minor releases and frequency of releases.

- The creation and stabilisation of processes and procedures to support the Release Management Service.

- The management of communications and expectations of customers and other stakeholders during the planning and rollout processes.

- The direction of dependent Change Approval governance processes to ensure proper approval prior to deployment into test and live.

- The direction of dependent Configuration Management governance processes to ensure proper population of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a release manager role

- IT Service Management experience in a large organisation with complex technologies; specifically experience in Release/Change/Configuration Management service provision areas (ideally to include experience of receiving service from an external provider)

- Project Management Lifecycle experience in a large organisation with complex technologies; specifically understanding of development and testing methodologies
