(IIT- s, NIT- s, BITS, etc. preferred)  Preferred candidates from Product Consumer Internet   Lead the UI Architecture of our technology rich, SaaS environment - including all aspects of presentation layer technical architecture and development including all related browser and server technologies responsible for rendering the user experience.  Responsibilities  - Work collaboratively as part of a team that includes visual/UX designers, business analysts, technical solution architects, and software engineers  - Architectural oversight for the front-end (REST APIs, JavaScript & MVC frameworks, CSS, etc.) establishing best practices & guidelines, and active hands-on development with a focus on reusability and consistency  - Mentor the team on proper design principles & effective techniques to ensure high quality deliverables  - Thought leader in the presentation layer technologies and space  - Lead recruiting of new presentation layer employees  - Stay current on web development technologies and UI/UX design trends/innovations  Requirements  - 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least three years on the front-end.   - Expertise in building UI for cross-platform web application.  - Strong JavaScript, Backbone, JQuery, HTML5, and CSS coding skills with the ability to solve highly complex challenges.   - Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components.   - Must be a self-starter with a passion to stay current with the newest online technologies.   - Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility.   - Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking   - Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
