UCB - Product Manager - Healthcare (4-8 yrs)

- Devises creative branding plans with effective product promotion and pricing strategies for the allotted brands for augmenting field force efforts and achieving planned objectives.

- To ensure resources (from the brand plans) are used in an optimal manner. Control and Monitor expenses such that it does not exceed agreed expenditure and gives maximum return on investment

- To determine in conjunction with relevant personnel the appropriate portfolio mix/focus based on optimal resource allocation, internal capability, market fit, competitive dynamics and corporate expectations.

- Devise and implement product strategies that will achieve optimal long-term performance across the portfolio in terms of market share and product performance. To work with various functions to ensure UCB capability is in line with long-term portfolio strategy.

- To ensure that the plans/strategies are in line with the companies policies, values and ethical practises.

- To ensure effective and timely implementation of marketing plans through open communication and close co-operation between sales, marketing and medical team. To foster a work atmosphere that promotes innovation and a passion for performance.

- To review the brand performance as per internal and external indicators.

- Responsible for joint field work so as to understand the level of execution and the success of the brand strategy.

- To be fully conversant with the customer/market place, key dynamics and policies in addition to an up to date knowledge of key competitors and their likely strategies. Interact with external customers (doctors) to promote the products and build customer relations.

- Coordinate with procurement team for promotional materials as per specifications and company’s branding guidelines as well as for distribution to the field staff as per plan.

- Coordinates with various departments for lecture tours, promotional strategies and national and international level workshops.

- Motivates the field force through product related campaigns and reward programs (product performance, strategy building and excellence workshops, newsletters, awards, etc.)
