The Uber Trust & Safety (TnS) team is responsible for further developing, creating, and constantly innovating processes and tools to ensure Uber continues to be the safest ride on the road. As the Manager for TnS in India, you'll be responsible for thinking through every aspect of Safety related to Uber in the region. You'll be one part incident response, one part trend analysis, one part brand ambassador, and one part process innovator- working with riders, driver partners, and the Uber team through challenging and sensitive problems.  WHAT YOU'LL DO  - Be the primary Safety liaison & business partner for the Regional leadership teams.  - Understand the regional business objectives & plans and advise them on Safety implications. Formulate the Safety Roadmap taking into account the Regional plans.  - Be the Safety evangelist within the region - promote the Safety charter, educate stakeholders on Safety's goals & mission.  - Be the face of TnS in India, including conducting media engagements to enhance public sentiment with regards to Safety in Uber.  - Identify KPIs to measure the health of the Safety program within your region.  - Partner with Product on execution and create traceability between Regional business objectives - Safety Roadmap - Product Roadmap  - Develop and maintain health metrics related to safety incidents.  - Implement internal and external user safety policies.  - Using your analytical skills, leverage data to arrive at conclusions and make process,policy & product recommendations  - Work with multiple teams globally, to continue innovating, eradicating inefficiencies by refining the system for managing the entire Safety process- from first response to resolution.  - Create a scalable quality assurance process and training pertaining to safety with our riders and drivers.  - Be a passionate advocate for riders and drivers while developing content and messaging that relate to user safety.  WHAT YOU'LL NEED:  - MBA from a prestigious B-School.  - Analytical knowledge with the ability to present and execute on actionable findings.  - Large-scale conflict resolution experience.  - Executive presence to be able to influence leaders across the organization.  - Organizational discipline & process definition skills.  - Ability to directly and indirectly manage teams and projects.  - Experience in virtually managing managers.  - Skilled and driven operator.  - Calm in the eye of the storm.  - Experience working independently in a minimally structured environment.  - Ready to roll up your sleeves, dig in, and innovate on every single detail of the Uber Safety process.  - Support management experience a plus.  - You're an Uber evangelist- you care about the product and getting others excited to ride.  PERKS  Employees receive free and discounted Uber rides.  Ground floor opportunity with the team; shape the strategic direction of the company.  The rare opportunity to change the world such that everyone around you is using the product you built.
