Position Title : Senior Domain Associate - Server and Storage
Reports to : Dy CTO
Department : Server and Storage
Function : IT Infrastructure
JOB PURPOSE :
Manage Compute storages, pvt. Cloud as IAAS, Projects and Sustenance for the Domain. Additional Responsibility of Managing team, budgeting, new technology evaluation and implementation, following internal process ITIL ( Incident, problem, change & release, configuration and project management )
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: maximum 12/14 accountability statements in the form of verb/noun/result area :
Description :
Problem management : permanent resolution for identified problem ticket
Configuration management: best practice implementation to improve performance. Maintain documentation and CMDB updated
Monitoring : monitor and correlation of event.
Capacity Management : cost effective capacity considering business growth, with current and future technology
Change management: Study and review impact of change. Follow the change and release process.
Project Management : Planning, scheduling, resource management, budgeting, communication, procurement, identifying project risk and project change control
New Technology : Evaluate new technology that helps in meeting organisation goal
Team management : segregation of role with the team. Resource management, Skill enhancement and growth roadmap, Conflict resolution.
Review : Review performance w.r.t problem/project/other tickets etc., . arrive at quantifiable performance matrix for all area. Provide dash board to senior management.
Meet all senior stake holder to understand organisation/department goal and get aligned. Take 365 view for the area of responsibility

- Meet agreed timeline. No repeat of issues post fix
- Updated CMDB
- 90% of proactive resolution
- Zero incident due to capacity constrain
- Zero post implementation issue
- Meet Schedule and budget
- Keeping at par withTechnology market trends

- Periodic meeting and meeting time lines for agreed action
JOB CONTEXT :

- Domain technical knowledge ( Server, Storage, LAN, SAN, IT security )
- Moving targets ( Modified objectives, scope changes, immediate new market entry etc)

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS : Define what is communicated to whom and why
Internal : Internal IT team, Business team, EPMO, Finance, ISG, HR and compliance
External : Vendors and regulators.
FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY : Define the nature of policy/procedure/instruction constraints and the nature of reporting relationships with the boss as well as any relevant financial sign-off authorities
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Define the skills, knowledge and experience specific to the job in question (includes generic skills) :
- Graduate/Post Graduate
- 12 Years of relevant experience.
- Excellent domain knowledge
- Good in quality control
- Knowledge of ITIL, project management and 6 sigma
- Multitasking
- Good analytical skills
