Sr Manager / AGM - IT Business Development
Purpose:
- To obtain external IT projects to achieve company business targets and ensure their implementation to the satisfaction of those customers. Also to attain preferred service providers’ status from 50 customers by 2015-16.
Role description:
- Carry out environment scan for identifying opportunities which TVS-M can leverage for implementing IT projects and revenue generation
- Canvass for the IT service business. Identify potential customers and finalize the contracts.
- Negotiate and finalise prices for such contracts
- Follow up and Obtain POs from customers for finalised contracts
- Complete necessary legal formalities such finalising NDA, Scope of Work agreements, etc.
- Resource planning and procurement of resources internally.
- Periodic review and monitor of these projects till it’s implementation
- Raise invoices as per agreed timelines and obtain payment, TDS certificates, etc.,
- Provide inputs based on market requirements for creating opportunities for new IT business.
Requirements:
- A person with Professional / Engineering / Computer Applications with adequate exposure in managing a team of minimum 50.
- Knowledge on information technology and ERP preferable SAP are essential.
- Very good knowledge in integrating IT applications to business needs.
- A sales person with good contacts of IT customers.
- Able to understand the emerging trends in the IT industry.
Special skills:
- Leadership skills, Change management, Project Management, etc.
