Role : Industry Research Lead (Cloud Analytics Digitization & Secutrity/ IOT) - 1

Experience : 15 - 20 years

- Trianz Research has a clear charter of delivering actionable, compelling and targeted research to CIOs and Industry leaders which provides clear guidance on strategic and tactical issues.

- Trianz Research is a team dedicated to enhance the Trianz brand in the market and position it as a niche player delivering value by being a business partner in the client's growth journey.

- This person is expected to be the trusted advisor to our CxO and board level clients. Our clients should consider them as the first go to person for any technical or functional (LOB) issue.

- They should be well known in the industry and IT circles, should be considered visionaries and should have been well established as individual brands in themselves. Although some of them maybe have hard core technical background but they should be equally strong on financials.

- They have to be someone with a solid past experience in a particular or multiple Technologies (Cloud, Digital, Mobility, Security, Analytics, Data Sciences, IOT, and Social). They should have either implemented, advised, or worked in some technology major on new technology at some point of time.

Experience :

- Should be well versed with CADS&IOT technologies and their impact on various industry, government, policies, consumers, service providers, and the eco system in general.

- Should have authored papers or books on challenges in their technology space.

- Should have good contacts at CxO and board level with the major organizations in their industry or technology space

- Should have contributed or help build various portfolio matrices, strategy frameworks, technology comparison models or valuation models.

- Should be creative in building new frameworks, concepts, methodologies and templates.

- Should be able to engage the team on innovative and new ideas (especially in various verticals)

- Should have developed or is aware of content creation process from idea generation, topic selection, commissioning of articles, proof reading, editing and delivering of content

- Should have been either a consultant advising CIOs, or an analyst in a reputed firm writing CIO specific research, or worked in the office of CIO in a large organization.

- Should be aware of various technology and business models by different analyst firms.

- Should understand the concepts of deriving business value of IT and able to derive business value from various digital transformation projects.

- Should have worked with business/ industry experts, analysts, technical teams in developing compelling content

- Should be able to work with Primary Research team to build hypothesis that need to be tested, help build questionnaires to get right responses, and help conduct a primary survey from end to end.

- Should be able to do Secondary Research on their own.

- Should have used SPSS and other statistical tools, in their past.

- 15 to 20 years of total experience

- Should be able to think out of the box and build new models, concepts and ideas.

- Should have managed a team of 5 - 10 people

- Should have a flare for writing

- Should have presented in large forums and events

- Should have worked with market research firms in conducting primary research and gathering relevant data necessary for research

- Should have good analytical skills and is aware if the different research methodologies

- Should be flexible on location, and ready to shift anywhere in the world, based on project requirements

Required Qualifications :

- MBA/ BTech/ Mtech/ MCA (BTech or MCA is Min)

- Very good in mathematics and statistics

- Other certifications like ITIL/ ISO Auditor added advantage

- Good command on written and spoken English

- Good presentation skills

- Flare for writing

- Team player

- Good understanding of current Trends in IT industry and CIO challenges
