- Ability to participate in Requirements Definition and Functional Specification exercises on large Insurance projects, as a Business Analyst .

- Ability to directly interact with Insurer's Business users and IT teams to capture, clarify and define business needs, User Acceptance Testing, etc.

- Understanding of Insurance Industry strategies - New Business strategies, multi-channel structures, Agency setup, Policy Servicing approach, etc.

- Ability to analyze practicality and impact of implementation of Insurance systems and develop formal recommendations based on these

- Knowledge of Insurance Industry Segments products within P&C (Fire, Home Owners, Property, etc) or Life (Whole Life, Endowment, Variable Annuities, Universal Life, etc)

- Knowledge of Insurance Industry Value Chain on multiple client opportunities or engagements leading to successful outcomes

- Knowledge of Insurance Industry Benchmarks, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the Inter dependencies of processes of the industry value chain

- Understanding of Insurance industry trends, competitive and regulatory pain points, and directions of the marketplace to assess their impact on the client's business.

- Ability to earn trust through clear communication, responsiveness, and knowledge of the customer's business and issues, leading to successful outcomes.

- Should be working / have worked in Top 20 IT Service companies.

- Should have worked in BI/DW programs.

- Should have at least worked at onsite for 1 year.

- Should have at least one Insurance certification.
