Director of Apparel Sourcing & Merchandising  - Fashion Buyer, Designer, and Head of Sourcing and Merchandising for brands under the Group company  Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for :  - Managing the production/manufacturing operations for the company across own factories + outsourced partners  - Collection, conceptualization & development of a range for each brand and each season, depending on the brand's mood boards, based on that develop the mood boards, define the trends according to price range and market position.  - Stakeholders / Vendor Management - Domestic and International Stakeholder / Vendor liaising and development and assessment from product mapping and purchase point of view.  - Costing & Negotiation of Products and Productions aspects  - Complete ownership of the category P&L to achieve margin targets and maximize profit (basis key indicators - sales, discounts, vendor performance, and inventory)   - Buying merchandise as per market trends and adeptly reacting to changes in consumer demands.  - Collaborating with Marketing, Creative & Content departments to plan & execute brand and product promotions.   - Analysing marketing intelligence data to procure the right merchandise & device product positioning strategy.   - Manage procurement as per delivery timelines and quantities to ensure that supply fulfills demand (daily review of stock levels).  - Forming and leading the group's sourcing and merchandising team.  - Oversees all aspects of product development   - Develops time-lines and product completion dates  - Ensuring the availability of stock across all relevant points of sale  - Maintaining quality standards across the value chain as per the company's standards  Core Competency and skills required :   - Recognize and identify new trends  - Knowledge of fabric sourcing, importing and costing  Strong organizational skills :   - Able to lead a successful design team-   - Carry out by meetings, manage sample approval process and communicate with stores-   - Solid merchandising and design skills are required-   - Able to work with all departments including sales, design directors, production, advertising and public relations   - Determines the store's merchandising budget and sets sales goals   - Establishes the quality level and price points for the merchandise to be carried   - Sets up markup targets and potential profitability-   - Directs the store's merchandise profitability-   - Collects and prepares the merchandise   - Conveys information to the design and operations teams  - Plans product categories, classes, and types-   - Balances stock and analyze sizes with sales in mind
