Treasurer  We have been retained by our client, a well established, professionally managed NBFC (Non Banking Finance Company) headquartered in Europe, to identify a Treasurer.   - The position is based at Mumbai, and is at the level of a Senior Vice President  Job Purpose:  - The Treasurer is responsible for the funding of the Non Banking Finance Company (NBFC).  Responsibilities:  - Responsible for the Treasury, Finance and Risk Management functions.   - Strategic Planning and Budgeting.  - Statutory and ALCO Reporting.  - Short term and long term - Funding profile to match the cash flow cycle of the Company.  - Implementing the Debt and Equity plans of the Company - negotiations, documentation, movement of funds.  - Balanced utilization of available bank lines - reduce average utilization of high cost lines thereby reducing total interest costs.  - Cash management - controlled flow of corporate cash from sales collection channels and into the payment streams. Minimization of cash-float balances and monitoring of cash management tools to be less than the benefits.   - Management reporting to aid the process of data based decision making.  - Structure and implement derivative products strategies like interest rate swaps and options to hedge exposures.  - Handling activities relating to management of working capital limits which includes daily cash management, CMA and QIS preparation and presentation to the bankers, attending consortium meetings, and all other activities required to manage working capital limits.  - Handling of appraisals of credit rating for the company with agencies like ICRA and Fitch in coordination with various departments of the company.  - Implementation of the Risk Management framework for Treasury.   - Address the suggestions, observations raised by auditors, both internal and external.  - Initiate and maintain relationships with Banks, Financial Institutions, Mutual Funds and Insurance Companies to place Long term and Short Term debt Instruments.  Specialised Job Competencies:  - Understanding of financial products and NBFC working.  - Good analytical skills.  - Experience with automated financial systems. Technical competence with advanced MS Excel/ Access/ PowerPoint skills .  - Ability to grasp financial mathematics for fund raising.  - Ability to interact with market participants and negotiation skills.  Key Attributes:  - People Management.  - Strong Communication skills both written and oral.  - Business Management / Financial Management.  - Performance Management.  - Resource Management.  - Cultural and Change Management.  - Planning.  - Decision - making skills.  Essential:  - Qualified Chartered Accountants or MBAs with a major in finance.  - Approx 12 to 15 years of post qualification experience in a Treasury function  Please forward a one page cover note summarising how you meet the eligibility criteria.
