KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : (Accountabilities attached to the role)
Functional :
- Overseeing production related tasks including planning, control and trouble shooting in shop floor
- Coordination with various department (QC, PPC, Marketing, Shipping, Tooling, Purchase) for the smooth manufacturing functions
- Optimizing man & machine utilization to achieve pre set production targets.
- Planning day-to-day activities, production schedules, allocating work and conducting inspection/ tests for checking performance capacity of various equipment.
- Achieve the targets in all aspects w.r.t. man-minutes, budgeted Cost-limits, delivery commitments, minimum inventory, minimum breakdowns etc.
- Implementation of IMS
- Implementing cost saving measures & modifications to achieve substantial reduction in terms of man days, production cost, raw material & energy consumption
- Analyzing various processes / applications and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency Plan & organize work activities to ensure targets in relation to reduce Scrap, Labour efficiency, Cost and Quality of Product.
- Reviewing the system and procedures for effective inventory control and ensuring timely availability of materials to meet the production targets.
- Analyzing customer complaints/queries for the factory produced products & to take appropriate Preventive/Corrective actions to ensure minimum rejections/replacements in the field.
- Evaluate employee performance and to motivate & lead a diverse work force to achieve desired results
Skills required :
- Should be technically sound.
- Should possess adequate knowledge in Plant handling
- Logical thinking
- Team Leader
- Good Communication (Spoken & Written)
- Problem solving skills.
Minimum Qualification : BE / BTech - Mech
Experience Range : 15+ Yrs
