It has achieved substantial growth in recent years, growing turnover from USD18 billion in 2004 to USD133 billion in 2013.  About the Role  To develop server side architecture libraries and APIs that business-aligned developers will use to build high performance trading applications in Trafigura. To work with development teams to help them use our architecture libraries appropriately. 	 Typical Key Responsibilities: 	 - Developing server side architecture libraries and APIs in Java.   - Maximise service and code reuse across teams  - They will contribute to the definition of Titan architecture standards and help ensure those standards are followed.   - Documenting and sharing technical best practices / insights with the engineering and architect communities.   - Taking ownership of, and fixing, issues with our live systems that are architectural in nature  Experience:  	 Essential:  - Expert Core Java (J2SE)   - Proven background in the development of large scale, global, complex custom application development systems.  - Expert in enterprise integration architectures and libraries: Web Services, Asynchronous messaging, SOA, etc. using Java APIs.  - Experience of developing trading systems.  - Developing and designing services using Java in a Linux environment  - Hands-on experience with high-performance OLTP RDBMS.   - Experience using Hibernate, TopLink or similar ORM in a Java environment.  - Experience writing Linux/Unix shells scripts.  - At least 10 years overall experience in software development   - Must have a working knowledge of system architecture disciplines including application, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.  - Strong problem solving skills, intelligence, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure  Desirable:  - Experience developing in Scala   - Developing using these Java libaraies: CXF,Guava, Finagle, TestNG, Junit, Mockito,H2  - Experience working Oracle Databases using Oracle AQ  - Experience working with RabbitMQ, AMQP or JMS  - Agile development methodologies (Scrum)  Equal Opportunity Employer:  We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse workforce.
