Trafigura Global Services Pvt. Ltd. (TGS) is the Shared Services Centre (SSC) for Trafigura, a world leading physical commodity trading company. We source, store, blend and deliver oil and key raw materials to clients all over the world. We trade commodities such as crude oil, refined petroleum products, concentrates and refined metals and provides the ships and facilities to store and transport them. We operate through a network of over 81 offices in 58 countries across the globe. We are active in at least 15 key global markets. With a turnover of US$133 billion in 2013; we traded over 2.3 million barrels a day of oil and petroleum products and shipped 26.7million tonnes of non-ferrous and bulk commodities.

Main Purpose

- To reconcile and maintain external Swap positions to brokers and counterparties

- Settlement of OTC (Over the Counter) contracts and broker commissions.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Minimum 2 – 5 years experience in handling/dealing with Derivative products such as Swaps/Options/Futures/ any derivative product and understanding of Trade settlement cycles.

- Graduate in Commerce/Economics with sound understanding of accounting practices and principles.

- Good understanding of Excel is essential.

- Meticulous attention to detail

- Flexible with work shifts

- Team player with good communication skills – verbal and written

- Fast learner and comfortable operating in a fast paced environment

- Flexible attitude and self-motivated

Key Responsibilities

- Follow up queries with Deals desk team, counterparties and e-Confirm to ensure that all Swaps are correctly captured and allocated.

- Process the Swap broker commission payments

- Reconcile counterparty confirmations to trade bookings in Pluto (Internal System)

- Issue or check, sign and return Swap contracts

- At TGS (Team Lead, Peer Group, Manager)

- Internal: Traders, Deals Desk, Treasury, Oil Accounting, Credit, IT

- External: Execution Brokers, ICE (E-Confirm), Trade Counterparts
