Company: Renowned company in agriculture commodities in Asia  Location: Singapore  Salary: 70000 Singapore dollars plus benefits  Responsibilities:  - Procurement of Raw materials like Agri Commodities, from International markets an, local markets as well as handling of import operations .  - Arrange consultation on matters related to regulations on imports, and foreign trade  - Identification of potential sources, evaluation of source wrt various service level parameters   - Checking importability of materials, comparison of prices against local availability.   - Responsible for procurement of materials chemicals and Agri based ingredients as well as new products both raw materials and finished goods depending upon type of product .  - Negotiation to be conducted for the materials keeping in mind various factors which drive price including market dynamics of demand and supply.  - Tracking of original documents and Scrutinizing of the documents for correctness, forwarding of documents to the concerned CHA, Scrutiny of Check list of bill of entry .  - Scrutiny of documents for materials to be procured from overseas markets and local market keeping in mind the Customs and Excise Act .  - Exchange control regulations and compliance to other collateral regulations  - Analysis and maintenance of MIS for Imported materials and also locally procured chemicals .  - Responsible for Inventory management of products to be handled  - Maintenance of optimal levels of inventory keeping in mind lead time, RPP requirements and other factors .  The role will grow into a trader.
